The Classified Leadership Institute (CLI)
The Classified Leadership Institute (CLI) is the largest, most comprehensive learning conference and professional development opportunity aimed at California Community College Classified Professionals. CLI seeks to promote leadership training while strengthening the classified presence in participatory governance at the local and state level. The conference is open to all Classified Professionals working at the 116 California Community Colleges.
Registration ends Friday, June 6 at 5 p.m. or when space fills.
Hotel & Travel
The 2025 Classified Leadership Institute will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel, 2001 Point W. Way, Sacramento, CA 95815. A special contracted room rate of $169.00/per night with fees/taxes has been reserved for conference attendees. Parking is offered at a $5 discount per night. Hilton Hotels has a new policy that must show a mandatory charge. On the main reservations page, it will show a higher room rate, but when you click it, it will take you to the payment and guest details. Once you click show price details it will show our group rate and breakdown.
A link to make a hotel reservation at the contracted room rate will be sent to registered attendees in their registration confirmation email. If you do not receive a registration confirmation email or the link, contact Trisha Albertsen at treasurer@ccccs.org
Getting to the Conference
Sacramento International Airport is 14 miles to the DoubleTree Hotel, Sacramento. The hotel does not offer an airport shuttle, but the property is easily accessed by taxi, ride share or car.
Family Members
If you plan to bring family members, please be sure to reserve a single room. If more than one room is needed, please book the additional room(s) directly with the hotel and not within the CLI room block. Family members are not included in reservations for CLI meals or activities, so please plan to pay for their meals and hotel services separately. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
President's Retreat
The Senate President’s Retreat will be held on site Tuesday, June 24 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. There is an additional registration for attendance at the President’s Retreat. Registration for this meeting also closes Friday, June 6, 2025.
Cancellation Policy
All refund requests must be made in writing. To request a refund for your registration, email Kristen Bautista at eventsregistration@ccleague.org. A $50 processing fee will be charged from the registration fee for all refunds, per registrant. This is separate from the credit card fees that are applied to registration. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after Friday, June 6, 2025. Please note: Refunds are not available for additional meal purchase, regardless of date requested.
